Half a Crown reviews.
The NovaScotia Chronicle Herald likes it, so does [info]firecat but [info]secritcrush really really hates the end. Oh well.

The first chapter is also in various Canadian newspapers and online here if anyone wants to read it.

....uuuurrrrrrgggghhhhhh. That's right up there with "clean and articulate." What was he expecting? Characters with names like Lord Spit of the Expectorate saying "By my halidom"?
