Pictures, thousands of words, do you really think so?
Rome pictures now online from [info]zorinth's journal.

Yesterday, we went to the Welsh Folk Life Museum at Saint Fagans, with some of my long lost family. No pictures, because Z spent the day muttering at regular intervals: "I should have brought my camera!"

And the first foreign sale for Farthing -- there's going to be a Spanish edition.

Yay! Centimo, Peseta, Peso, presumably...?

I would think Farthing, Ha'Penny, Half a Crown...the whole point of the titles is that they're names of British coins. If there are Spanish names for those same coins, then I could see using those, but changing it to names of Spanish coins makes no sense unless you rewrite the whole series to take place in Spain, which would be somewhere between silly and impossible.

Incidentally, anyone who hasn't looked at Zorinth's pictures should go do so as they're very cool.

Oh, Saint Fagans!--I have fond memories of my two visits there. (I didn't take many pictures but I do have one of a wee [info]zorinth admiring a blurry boar.)

I hope the time spent with your newfound family was pleasant.

And happy anniversary!

Again to Factoria de ideas, or someone new?

I don't know, as I haven't yet seen the actual contracts -- they arrived at home and [info]rysmiel opened them for me!

What's the title going to be in Spanish? Ha'penny would be medio penique and 'half a crown' media corona, but I've no idea what farthing translates to, never having had occasion to seek an equivalent in Spanish (and they stopped minting farthings before I started speaking Spanish at the age of three).

I don't know yet if they'll change the title. I'd imagine they'd keep it the same, as they refer to the specific coins.

Perhaps you're right, although two of the coins have names in Spanish (or at least can be translated).
